• Welcome to my blog!

My name is Cheryl Johnson and I think I have the best job in the whole wide world .... imagine being paid to do what you love, how lucky am I ??? I have travelled far and near capturing beautiful images for myself and others, see I told you I had the best job :)

I am a wife, mother and photographer based in Chafford Hundred, Essex.

  • MY PHOTOGRAPHY

My love for capturing, on film, the beauty around me developed as a teenager with my very first kodak instamatic camera. However, it was the birth of my sons that turned my photography into a passion for documenting the fleeting moments in a child's life. I now offer this to my clients from their squishy newborns to teens celebrating special birthdays and everything inbetween.

My approach to weddings is to capture spontaneous moments with an artistic eye while working unobtrusively. My goal is to create images that tell a story and design a beautiful album which is a tangible reminder of the feelings shared between a bride & groom on their very special day.

Photography & Photo Editing Online Workshop

This workshop is 50% Photography and 50% Photo Editing using Photoshop Elements and is open to all camera owners. Each week will involve a photographic assignment and a specific editing technique like portrait retouching, head swapping etc.

Sign up now using the paypal button below, once you receive transaction confirmation you’re in !! Workshop details and forum registration will be sent out Sunday 11th July.

Fee: £20.00

Location: Comfort of Your Own Home

Duration: 16 July – 12 August 2010

If you don’t own Photoshop Elements you can download a 30 day trial but I’m sure by the end of the workshop you will want to buy it. Fortunately it is much much cheaper than the full version of Photoshop.
