Scrapbook Inspirations Magazine to cease publication

Scrapbook Inspirations Magazine

I have worked on this magazine since Issue No.3 so it’s a very sad time for me personally, I will miss working with my fellow designers and the wonderful team based in Bath who have just been made redundant.  I loved being involved in the creative side of preserving my photos and memories and it helped me develop a career in photography and meet some amazing people in this country and overseas at crops and retreats.

The last issue (No.60) will go on sale 13th November 2009.

The publisher said Scrapbook Inspirations catered to a very specialist market which has unfortunately declined significantly during the last year.

This is very sad but I wonder where they get that info from? Did they not see all the hundreds of scrappers at Ally Pally?? You will all be very much missed!

Even though I have not scrapped for ages I am still a subscriber – I got the mag since the first issue. My first contact with you was when you picked one of my LOs to go in readers gallery.

Really sad to see it go, no other UK based mag is as good, and i’m sorry that i will only be subbing to US mags now :(

Oh what sad news – I’m gutted. SI was the one maagzine I used to eagerly wait for, and read from cover to cover – literally. Such wonderful ideas and inspiration – what a great shame…

OMG, I’m shocked! Really, really shocked! this is where I first heard of your photography courses and fell in love with photography! I’ve been a reader since the first issue and I am gutted for everyone involved in the making the publication! I’ve just got my reminder to renew my subscription and passed to hubby!! Gutted! :(

Scrap Inspirations has always inspired me, and was so delighted when any of my layouts were chosen to be published.
