The boys are more interested in online gaming these days than easter egg hunts so when I asked them if they wanted money or eggs I was quite surprised that they seemed shocked that I would even suggest it !

Have a great day with your family.

First Module starts 4 April 2008
Final Module goes out 6 June 2008Cost: £25 / $50

Are you, like me, passionate about photography ? I’m pretty sure you already know it’s not always as easy as it looks. Wouldn’t it be great if all you needed to do was buy a fab new camera, point it at your subject to capture a show stopping shot ! OK, you might well get the odd one but you really should be getting consistent, sharp and innovative results. We all have to start somewhere.

That somewhere is getting a better understanding of the functions of your camera, once you’ve done that you can develop a more creative approach to photography. This workshop will help you “grow” as a photographer.

Painting with Light is purely a creative workshop – it will not cover technical aspects like F/stops etc, you’ll need to sign up for the Masterclass in June.

If you would like to see examples of my work they are featured in Scrapbook Inspirations Magazine or on my website

until September

PEOPLE IMAGERY
Starts: 14 March 2008
Fee: £30

While its not essential that you have already taken the 10 week Painting with Light Workshop I do recommend you take it first to get the most out of this workshop. That way you’ll have an understanding of creative techniques and how the workshops flow as this is fast paced specialised course. There won’t be time to explain and learn the basics.

Photography pretty much dominates my life at work and at home. I’m either talking about it, writing about it, reading about it or my most fave thing of all is actually doing it ! Over the last thirty years i’ve tried just about every type of photography there is but my passion has always been for people.

Portraiture is so much more than pointing your camera at your subject and pressing the shutter. Yes, you need to know how to use your camera and an understanding of the principles of photography but equally as important is your ability to relate to people. You’ll get the best out of your subject by putting them at ease in what is generally an unnatural situation for them.

The aim of this workshop is to inspire and educate by giving you additional skills and confidence to create images that stop you in your tracks.

During this four week workshop we will cover the best possible light, posing, candid imagery and action shots. There is a private forum for photographers to share images, inspiration and receive feedback or you can work along at your own pace. All this for a mere £30 !

Don’t dither as once all the spaces are gone that’s it for this workshop until September. . .
